09.25.07 | Veterinary Medical Associations Partner with TRANSFIRST Health Services to Offer Member Benefit Program for Credit Card Processing

Members will have access to consultative expertise of one of the leading processors in the healthcare industry today

DALLAS; RENO, NV; BISMARCK, ND; and COLUMBIA, SC (September 25, 2007)TRANSFIRST Health Services, Inc. a division of TRANSFIRST Holdings, Inc., a leading provider of credit card processing services and payment enabling technologies, and the Nevada Veterinary Medical Association (NVMA), North Dakota Veterinary Medical Association (NDVMA), and South Carolina Association of Veterinarians (SCAV) are announcing partnerships that will provide members with a member benefit program aimed at improving payment processing services at the practice level. The NVMA, NDVMA and SCAV each promote the highest professional and ethical standards of veterinary medicine and currently represent over 1,100 veterinarians.

Through the board approved programs, NVMA, NDVMA, and SCAV Members can take advantage of a processing program with pricing based on the represented volume of each association, creating an economy of scale cost structure for individual practices. Members can also take advantage of a wide array of account receivable reduction products and services including POS and PC processing tools for credit and PIN Based debit, TRANSFIRST's TRANSACTION CENTRAL, an IP based virtual terminal product, wireless products for remote or traveling veterinarians, ACH processing, check and gift card programs, PCI compliance, and multiple on-line reporting options. NDVMA represents the broad spectrum of veterinary medicine, including, but not limited to small animal, large animal, exotic, bovine and equine practitioners, and those veterinarians working in research, academic and government capacities.
