DALLAS (December 1, 2005) – Dallas-based TRANSFIRST, a leading provider of transaction processing services and payment enabling technologies, has been ranked 30th in the 2005 FinTech 100, an annual industry ranking developed and published by American Banker and Financial Insights. The ranking includes the top 100 global technology and service providers to the financial services industry. In 2005, TRANSFIRST strengthened its position as a leader in the financial services industry by improving its position from 32nd in 2004.

The recently published ranking is based on revenue data, applications/services, vendor/product reputation, adherence to industry standards, number of clients in banking, number and value of acquisitions within financial services, market capitalization and changes to market capitalization.
