Check Services
Check processing verification and/or guaranty allows municipalities

offers four levels of check processing protection and convenience,
depending on the municipality’s needs.
ACH Processing
Our Electronic Check Conversion (ECC) turns a traditional paper
check into an electronic check at the point of sale, converting
it to an ACH transaction. The check writer is asked to sign a
receipt authorizing the ACH and then the check is given back to
the customer.
Gift & Loyalty
Card Program
TRANSFIRST’s
gift and loyalty card program is ideal for municipalities who
are looking to build customer loyalty, increase traffic and generate
revenue at various city-owned facilities such as zoos, museums,
gardens, special events, etc. Our easy-to-use program offers three
different levels of gift card starter kits and allows a municipality
to customize the card’s design based on their own look and
feel.

Chargebacks
We handle all retrievals and chargebacks through our in-house
system. Daily management includes services such as two notices
sent on retrievals and a four-calendar-day delay before debiting
for chargebacks.

is the primary objective of the Chargeback Department. TRANSFIRST
works quickly to gather all necessary documentation to support
a disputed sale.
Credit & Risk
We monitor municipalities’ daily processing activity utilizing
robust in-house software. We audit several different risk factors
to minimize fraud and loss problems for the municipality.
