John Shlonsky is president and chief executive officer for TRANSFIRST. Utilizing almost two decades of experience in the financial industry, he is responsible for overseeing the company's core sales function, leading and developing talent within TRANSFIRST's core business units, overseeing key partnerships and implementing innovative technologies and processes.

Prior to joining TRANSFIRST, Mr. Shlonsky was president of Merchant Services for First Data Corporation where he had responsibility for all business units including all alliances as well as Card Services International, TASQ, and Concord. He spent 11 years at First Data and held various leadership roles throughout his tenure. Mr. Shlonsky also served in financial management roles within Smith Barney, Chadbourne & Parke, and Grumman Data Systems.

Mr. Shlonsky earned his undergraduate degree in finance from Arizona State University. He has served on the board of directors for several American Red Cross local chapters. Mr. Shlonsky resides in Long Island, NY, with his wife and two sons.
